How can I become a volunteer with WAPAO?

You can join WAPAO as a volunteer by filling out our online application form on our website or by contacting our volunteer coordinator. We welcome individuals who are passionate about serving underprivileged and vulnerable communities.

No special skills are required, but any experience in community service, teaching, healthcare, fundraising, or administration is always helpful. Most importantly, we look for volunteers with compassion, commitment, and a desire to help others.

The time commitment depends on the role and project. Some opportunities may require only a few hours a month, while others might need regular involvement. We try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate our volunteers’ schedules.

Yes, all volunteers receive basic orientation and training relevant to their roles to ensure they feel confident and prepared to serve effectively.
